Easy Style of Elswick Appeals
Unique in its solid timber construction and fine detailing, the Elswick Custom Timber Bed Frame offers a stylish statement piece for your master bedroom with a luxurious timber ‘floating’ frame design sure to capture attention. The Elswick is built using a solid pine platform under the standard frame where your mattress rests, and underneath is a sturdy recessed square base positioned 25cm in from the border to give that luxurious look. The side rails of the platform sit 12cms from the ground in order to give the floating look. This floating frame is available to be made in Tasmanian oak or pine sourced from Australian sustainable plantations, and the frame is equipped with solid pine slats measuring 9cm x 3.5cm. Its side rail design also inspires the addition of LED lighting underneath for added dramatic effect.
Fully Customisable Options
The Elswick features a custom panel headboard showing off the timber’s unique grain, but this is also a frame that can be customised with a mix-n-match range of headboards. There is a large range of warm timber stain colours that you can select from, designed as one of the strongest timber bed frames in our product range and is available in all sizes (see below for measurements). This design can also be fully customised to suit your existing decor and comes with a 2-year manufacturer warranty on construction. Custom Made Timber Bed Specifications:
- Our custom-made timber beds are made right here in Sydney, Australia, from sustainable plantations.
- Select from our premium wood – Victoria Ash Oak or American Oak, both are Australian hardwoods sourced from Victoria. You can also stick with New Zealand Pine, our standard timber, a great budget -yet custom- option.
- Our bed frames are made from solid timber with your choice Victoria Ash Oak, American Oak or New Zealand Pine for all edges/borders, legs, side rails, and small footboards.
- Large headboards and large foot-ends are made with veneer panels or a mixture of solid timber and veneer.
- Slats are solid pine measuring 9cm x 3.5cm.
- Single, King Single and Double do not need central support; but can be ordered if you require heavy-duty support.
- Queen size has centre support underneath the slats.
- King and Superking have centre support underneath the slats as well as two legs touching the floor.
- Our custom-designed bases can hold a combined weight of 380kg on our Double, Queen, King, and Super King sizes.
- Single and Double have 11 solid pine slats measuring 9cm x 3.5cm each, with the gap between each slat measuring 8cm.
