It offers a unique solid panel foot end extending to the floor, showing off the timber grain, to give a balanced look and provide strong support for the side rails. The Bed is designed for the mattress to sit inside  2cms. A thick 9 x3.5 cm  Pine slats support your mattress for years of comfortable sleep and the timber frame can be stained in a large range of colours to match your existing furnishings.
